"I was due for an upgrade and told myself i will wait for the iphone5 because it sounded like it was "all that". this was until i seen the note II. i did my research and found that the note is by far better than the iphone5 and in terms of power, its actually more powerfull than all the tablets out there. i chose to take it and i have not a single regret.. the best part is it serves as a tablet and a phone with an extremely powerfull battery that lasts me 3 entire days, i dont think any other phone in this league could compete.. oh wait there is no other phone in the same league as the note II.. i would reccommend this phone to anyone who wants a real "all purpose" phone and for the price that its selling for right now is value for money.. another great invention by samsung"

"My feeling is samsung should have not removed the ability to connect the phone as a mass storage. The MTP functionality doesn't work well. I hate the idea of having to install some software before you can load or manage your files, plug and play is key. I also would like to see the multitasking feature being updated to allow some customisations instead of having it as a fixed list. Otherwise the note two is an awsome phone and I'm loving it."

"I do actually own a Galaxy S3 and now the Galaxy Note 2, both have fitted perfectly well as business man operating in two countries in East Africa under two mobile networks. Of critical importance is using the phone on a home network to provide wi-fi hotspot to the other on roaming and to my laptop. Business & Life has never been this fun!! Thumbs up SUMSANG!!"
Pros: both for business and leisure
Cons: too many good options to choose from

"When I heard about this phone, I knew I wanted it. My only issue was the size as I had an S3 and it's not the most pocketable smartphone out there. I loved the big amoled screen of the note 2, I was just concerned about portability. I knew it would be difficult to pocket this device, but I loved it so much that I just had to get. I went to Vodacom Store at Vodacom World a day after it was available locally. I didnt even ask to see a demo model as I knew the size may influence a change of heart and I would probably go back home, regretting not purchasing it. I purchased it, sped back home and finally opened it. My first impression was " WOW " this thing is BEEEG...... I should have stuck with my S3 !!!! Turned it on, played with it for the day and said to myself " THANK GOD I BOUGHT THIS " This phone is simply amazing. Project Butter is a excellent on Jelly Bean. The S Pen is really amazing. I wasn't convinced at first but after playing around with it, you realise just how much fun u can have with the S Pen. The big screen is perfect for typing and has a row of numbers above the alphabets, which is really handy.
If you are having second thoughts with regards to purchasing this device, my advise to you would be to just buy it and you will fall in love with it in no longer than a week. The size will no longer be an issue.
Dont expect other people to like it cause most will not, but you will.
The only issue I found is that, due to its size and the all plastic design, it can be slippery and I really fear I may drop it. A rubber casing will rectify this issue but I find them ugly and dont wanna add more bulk to an already big device."

"this is a highly portable computer that is, by that definition, also practical to use as a phone. As a field service engineer, I often need to refer to pdf manuals and parts catalogues. While I do have a notebook computer it is often impractical to lug it around while carrying a full toolkit. with this device I can read my pdf documents with ease, refer to product related web pages and perform a variety of other tasks that have been simplified a hundred fold thanks to my Galaxy Note 2. I wouldn't recommend the note to the technologically challenged. If, however, you have the appropriate skills to take advantage of this brilliant device, it will become an indispensable tool. It is also lightening fast and, by smartphone standards, the battery holds up incredibly well. It is big for a phone, but it sits comfortably in a trouser pocket and the size is more than compensated for by the unbelievable functionality of the device."
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, great functionality, long battery life, good value for money, powerful processor, very fast
